It’s all about circulation. Before we talk about how blood circulation affects the health of your nails and body, let’s talk about the anatomy of a nail.

Generally, people believe a “nail” is only made up of what we see on the outside. In reality, your nail structure actually begins at the nail matrix.
The nail matrix is just one part of your overall nail structure, and is where your fingernails and toenails form. In the image below, you’ll see the nail matrix is located just under the nail, at its base.
The nail matrix has two basic functions. Most importantly, the matrix attaches your nail to the skin underneath it. Next, the matrix is where new cells grow and nail growth occurs. As new cells form, the nail matrix pushes the old, dead cells out.
Most of your nail matrix isn’t visible. For many, the white crescent shape at the base of the nail (the lunula) is the only part of the matrix that is visible.
The next part of the nail structure is the cuticle. The cuticle is the thin strip of clear skin located at the base of the nail. The role of the cuticle is to keep bacteria from entering and growing underneath the nail.
Your nail plate is what we see. It’s the visible hard nail area that extends from root to tip (also known as the free edge). Your nail plate, made of keratin protein, sits on top of the nail bed, but does not contain any blood vessels or nerves.
The nail bed is the skin underneath your nail plate.Nerves and blood vessels of the nail bed supply nutrients to the entire nail structure.
Now that you have a better understanding of the different parts of your nail structure, let’s discuss why good circulation is so vital for healthy nails and your overall well-being.
As you can see in the diagram above, your fingers are full of tiny blood vessels. These blood vessels are what feeds nourishment to your hands and nails. The healthier those blood vessels are, the better your circulation. The better the circulation, the more oxygen you’re getting to your hands and feet, the quicker your nail matrix generates new cells, and pushes out the old ones.
Dream Gel is a product of over 16 years of research, trial, and more research. Inventor Kenny Vu has developed a deep understanding of how nails can be improved by applying the right ingredients to the nail plate to protect the entire nail structure from the damage of daily life.
Dream Gel is nutrition for your nails, and should be applied about every two weeks. The base coat is applied just like an ordinary nail gel. Dream Gel, however, soaks into the nail instead of just staying on top of it. Within a few weeks of use, you may start experiencing stronger nails, and a more youthful appearance to your hands.
Some of our Dream Gel customers have reported the following results:
